When you cook with liqueurs, does the alcohol burn away?

i was going to make crepe suzette, but i was wondering if the alcohol would cook away.

When you cook with alcohol usually you will see flames. When the flames are gone so is the alcohol content.

if you don't see any flames it is usually because the liqueurs where not hot enough to burn.

If you cook the crepes suzette for 1 minutes the alcohol will be gone.
