Ah, I feel retarded for asking this...

But, when you count down the days to an event, do you include the day that you're on? Today it's the 27th of August and I'm trying to figure out how many days we have until the 4th of September. Do I count it as 7 days or 8 days?

Thanks in advance

  5. that's cool

it took me forever to work it out

the best way to do it is put a 0 on the day you want and then count up until you're on todays date.

I always used to stuff up counting down christmas :)

  6. You don't count today.

An easy way to figure how to do a countdown is to project just one day forward.

Let's say today is August 27th and you want to do a countdown to August 28th.  You know that's just one day forward, right?  If you counted both today and tomorrow, that would be two days forward, which would be wrong.

  7. if its after 12pm you count the day. it would be 8.

at least thats what i learned when i was younger.

  8. No.
