  1. I paint with shoes , sandals or bare feet .It  all depends! ~on the place , the weather, the object being painted.

    cheers.

  2. I never do any paint jobs myself but I'm always barefoot, if I ever decide to do any painting I'd do so barefoot too. I wouldn't worry too much about the chemicals, maybe if I were a painter for a living or a real frequent home decorator I'd look into it more, but getting paint on my feet just once in many years & having to remove it with thinner isn't going to hurt. I'd be more worried about the fumes than the little that will be absorbed by the skin (wouldn't wear gloves either).

  3. shoes..

  4. I paint barefooted all the time..and do drywall finishing..lol i hate shoes

  5. Barefoot! Then you can use paint thinner on your feet to get any spilled or stepped in paint off!

  6. i am a professional painter and i always paint in socks, no shoes. cept at home, then im always barefoot :)

  7. I would not do my own painting , I can't paint worth a heck, I have to hire someone to do it.

  8. Shoes are always used during home restoration projects old shoes are always used to these types of jobs, going barefoot would not be recommended as stepping in chemicals could cause problems such staining and would be absorbed by the skin which is unhealthy Good Luck !

  9. Barefoot. Its the only way you can tell if you've stepped in wet paint. This will keep you from tracking it throughout the house. Also, you wont be as likely to slip and fall on the plastic if your in your bare feet.

  10. I wear socks and take them off when I leave the room so if I have stepped in paint I dont walk it through the house. I dont use plastic sheets on the floor though, just old sheets and newspaper, prob not a good idea to paint in socks if you've got plastic down!

  11. i would suggest with ur shoes or something to cover ur feet...

n make sure u paint one side n then proceed with the next side when the earlier part is dried...
