When you delete a file in yahoo groups, does the group receive a message about the deletion?

Nope, there isn't sent a notification about the deletion of the file but, I think the owner or the privileged moderators are notified.

no they do not but there is a log keep of all group activity and who did/ deleted what- there is no notifyer to owners at all- only logs will keep track of this. the mail notices are for uploads and adds only
