  1. Hopefully not. The good will I gave to those who benefited is what I'll leave.

  2. well thats not for me to say.Ü

  3. nothing at all, some kind words here and there, a few broken hearts I left along the way when was younger unintentionally, some good friendships and brilliant memories from mad great times in the past.

  4. I did not apply to be born, nor can I apply to die.

Both birth and death are the responsibility of existence, so all that I have done in between I place at the door of existence.

  5. Hopefully, the children I have taught will be pivotal in making the world a better place.  I am glad to have an input in educating them

  6. I haven't been a waste of space, I have contributed to the global warming by driving a car or truck, using electricity in my house, building a fire in my stove, breathing.  lol

I have not contributed any children to the world but I have given a part of my knowledge and experience, love, kindness, gentleness, words of hope and laughter to those who have been in my world. I think that is filling space in a positive way.  I think instead of RIP mine should say Laugh ON! or something funny like that.  Laughter is good medicine.

How about you who asked the question-Are you a waste of space??

  7. apart from my kids, nothing!

  8. Now why would I want to leave anything to make the world better. I have been getting screwed by the government & every one else all my life. No one has ever done c**p for me so why should I care. I paid my dues with all the taxes taken from me & was forced to live a crappy life because of it.

  9. I think not and here is why.

For many years I never looked at life in that way thinking that every thing I did was significant if not in my own eyes at least in the eyes of my family, coworkers, and friends.  That was a time when family and job and friends were new and my life was just beginning.

But many years have past and now I am in my middle age years I sense the term significant contribution more and more applied to my own life.  Your question is very relevant.

So when I rephrase your question to what makes my life significant both now and then and not a waste of space?  I can still answer in a way I never thought of my life before.

I have always tried in my humble way to make this world better for everyone I met.  To make them feel better about themselves and to look at the world not as a drudgery but as challenges for the possibility of tomorrow.  And to understand that life is a precious gift.  To let them know each one is my teacher and guide.  So that I can be a better person because of them in my life.  And most important that I believe God put me here.  Not as a waste of space.  But as a purpose for his will to be done on this earth.  Not to do great things.  But to do common ordinary things to there great and extraordinary people I meet on the street daily.

  10. I think I've saved the world by not polluting more trash, I mean having children.

I have not wasted any space.

  11. You have made a lot of people happy. Your parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles - even though some people don't think it, your parents might have had a c**p life without you and you've made your friends happy, you have even made a difference to people you have only ever glanced at.

Lots of people refuse to accept this (as I suspect you will) it's strange. Like, I think comedians are some of the most valuable people on the planet because they bring happiness to whoever may be listening, but so many of them have low self-esteem. Why? They're brilliant!

  12. Lots of good advice to freinds family and strangers alike.

  13. Worm food.

    They should be pleased.

  14. I made the world better by not having children, and talking others out of having children.  I have talked many of my friends' daughters into remaining child free for their whole lives.  I really feel good about doing that.

Other than that I guess I have helped the world because I work in electronic banking.  My employer says I am very good at what I do.  Your identity is safer because I do my job.

  15. I will have left treasured memories and a kind, caring impression on other people that I hope they will carry with them.

  16. Compost.

  17. When you die, you live on in the memory of others.

Of course, some will be a waste of space, but it takes

    all-sorts!
