When you do prank calls, what if they think its for real and they call the cops?

if they call the cops for your prank call and its not threating ther life they cant do nothing about it also you cal use *67 befor the nuber and they cant trace your number

Don't do it. Everybody has caller id. If you block your number, they most likely wont answer. I  know I wouldn't. Plus it is still possible to trace the call even if you try to block the number. If you really want to do it, you would have to go to a pay phone and good luck finding one. They're almost obsolete.

your gonna get in trouble, use someones cell phone instead and then they take the heat...

lol nice actually mostly when people prank call if they even suspect it they  *67 you and then you get in ****. Lol but nice question if they did call the cops i think then the cops would also check who called and then there would be bigger problems.

I got in trouble for it when I was much younger.... they just tried to scare me at the police station and my folks made me write a apology letter.... lame

It depends what you say. If it is a harmless prank call and the person pranked calls the cops they cops will ignore the complaint.

However, once you make a threat or harass people the police will subpoena the phone records and eventually find you. You will then be in more serious trouble once the police get a hold of you.

Moral of the story: keep it harmless, no bad words, no threats.
