When you download a free ring tone, is it really free?

I was looking at phonezoo.com and it says it's free. So when I download it to my cell phone, is it still free? Are there any payments at all? I'm new to the cell phone thing because I've never had one before, so I don't know.

  1. Usually not. It will sometimes just be a sample, not the whole ringtone. I also don't trust websites like that. If you give out your phone number you could get bombarded by advertisements in your text messages.

  2. don,t download any ringtones from the net it might have vruses

  3. what cell phone do you have???

go here they are completely free no charges!!!!!

    mobile17.com

    tkgnet.com

if u can get on internet by your phone you can download them from there its really easy and faster if you have other questions feel free to message me: lfamayag@yahoo.com hope it helps

  4. You only pay for the text, because that's how the ringtone is delivered to you. So if you have a texting plan, then you don't pay any additional fees.

  5. myxertones.com

  6. The actual phonezoo site is free - however - when you download a ringtone from them, your wireless carrier will charge you per individual ringtone (it's over $7) - trust me - i was stupid enough to do it....

  7. www.VENTONES

    .com

    FREE!

and you can upload and make your own ringtones as well. Its awesome

  8. ok you have to be able to recieve data text messages. All you pay for is the data text message which won't be that much.

So sort of free but what you can do is play it on the website and record it then set that as your rigtone. But I'm not sure if your phone can do that. So contact me if you need any help:)
