When you drive by a dead skunk in the road, why does it take about 10 seconds before you smell it?

  2. because the car is moviing and the smell enters the car with speed. and becauseyou are breathing the air in the surrounding of your nouse become clean. so when the smell enters the area it passes it before you can take it in. but after ten second it beomes stable and when it comes to the area of your nouse than it has no power to get out of the grip of your breath. so it enters in your nouse than. it takes more time to become stable the faster it is moving. and so it takes more time to smell.
