  1. Yes, meat is by definition muscle.  The type of meat changes due to eating different types of muscle.

  2. YEAH

  3. yes. duh. What do you think that there is only one part of that animal that has muscle? You think that meat comes in layers and the butcher seperates the fat from the muscle? dumb question.

  4. yes, of course you are!

  5. yes. and the skin when you eat birds

  6. yes and no.  steak and ham and such is the muscle of the animal and is very good for you.  hot dogs, sasagues, and other meat products are often made from the leftovers of the animal (i.e. headcheese, pickled pigs feet, spam.....>:p) and are not as "kosher" and good for you.  this is why you should be very afraid of uncooked meat products.  in the end most meat products are precooked and very safe to eat.   however steak and fish and such are more "pure" things to eat

Kidneys, livers, lungs and brains are not muscles but many people eat these organs.

  9. Most meat is muscle. But there are also organ meats - liver, sweetbreads, kidneys, brains. Heart is muscle, but it is quite different from other muscle tissue. Tongue is different, too. And of course one can't make genuine sausages without casing, which comes from the intestines.

  11. Yup- a filet mignon is the psoas muscle.

If god did not want people to eat animals, he would not have made them out of meat!
