  1. They will check into the business, but depending on the case load, it may not be anytime soon. Depending on the business type, there are consumer advocate sections in many magazines and local newspapers that can try to assist you. Those generally have good luck with resolutions, as the results will be posted and read by many. Few companies want a bad report card when an easy resolution exists. Sometimes making things right fast with a customer is better and cheaper advertisement than they normally would pay for, so give that route a try. If nothing else, document your troubles and take out a full page ad in the paper yourself!

  2. Yes, you will get justice, if you are in the right, They contact the person/company you are complainting about, you get  a letter stating your complaint is being handled, you should hear 10 to 30 days. The complaint goes on there record and if anyone wants to check this person/company they are told that complaint has been filed and then it's up to the person if they want to do business with this person/company.

  3. Sometimes you do. I put a complaint in to them about Sprint and they actually resolved my issue and I got a letter from sprint apologizing and stating if I wanted to come back to them for my wireless service they wouldn't charge me an activation fee. It worked for me. Hope that helps.

  4. Its going to take some time but yes there will be repercussions for the company in violation of fair trade act. Be patient

  5. go to the link on this post. it's the offficial site for the better business bureau. the site better explains how they work.

if there are enough complaints against the same company, they will do something about it. even if there isn't a lot of complaints against the company, still put it in.

  6. No, you probably won't even get satisfaction.  Welcome to the world.

  7. No... Unforetunetly they will just keep the complaint on file with all the rest!

  8. When you file a complaint with the BBB, the BBB will notify the company of your complaint. The company has to respond to the BBB with a resolution to your problem to avoid a bad rating. If you are unable to get your issue resolved with the BBB, also try the Attorney General's office. Depending on your complaint, you may be able to go to your local state representative who will also contact the company on your behalf. If it is a utility company, your local Public Service Commission can also assist you. Keep in mind, depending on who the complaint involves, the BBB and/or Attorney General might not have jurisdiction and if you file a complaint with your public service commission, the decision they render will have precedence over the BBB or Attorney General. If all else fails, go to your local tv news stations. Most have consumer reporters who help viewers solve problems they have had with businesses because they bring them negative publicity.

  9. I didn't.  Nothing ever happen.  6 months later I had a friend call and check on this company.  They gave them a good report and told her that there had never been a complaint filed against them.

    I was not impressed.

  10. probably not.  they notify the company of your complaint and then the company has the option to rectify the situation or not.  your best bet, in my opinion, is to contact the company directly and DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!!!!!  contact the news outlets in yur area.  i did that years ago in houston and my problem was resolved within 48 hours of the news station getting involved.  nobody wants bad publicity.
