When you file for bankruptcy are all transmissions and assets checked five or three years prior to filing?

  1. Typically your attorney or paralegal will request you list all of your debts and assets.  They will often pull your credit reports, which will list all your credit for the last 7 years.  Not all companies report to credit bureaus so you need to be as accurate as you can as well.   I am not sure how they check your assets besides your honesty and perhaps a visit to your home.
