  1. My pregnancy wasn't planned, although it is welcomed. We weren't necessarily trying every month and testing. We just didn't use protection and hoped for the best. I ended up waiting a week past my period was due and tested and got a positive. I couldn't have been more happy.

I wish you the best of luck :)

  2. Although it was planned I was shocked, like "I'm pregnant what am I gonna do now?!". Told to my husband, who was really happy.

But before conceiving I did test at home once, which was negative. And then I decided not to do anymore, until I miss my period for a week or 10 days. So next time it worked!

    Good luck!

  3. my dr told me that i have pcos and i might have a hard time conceivingg with out treatments. but i didn't want to start some crazy regimen of meds, and only making love when i was fertile. so when i got the positive i was so excited i was 3-4 days late for my period. i couldn't believe it because i was let down so many months, i was just expecting to see a negative. when i seen the pos, i took the second test cuz i figured it was broken or something. it said positive too so i ran in the bedroom and shook my husband. (he was sleeping) i said guess what im pregnant! you wanna see?! he smiled and said no come cuddle with me. he had just went to bed a couple hours b4 that and had been working 12-14 hrs/night. 6 days a week at the time. he was so sweet, he kissed my neck then he put his hand on my belly and said i hope its a boy. we are having a girl.

it is really disappointing to see a neg. when you are trying , so i agree with the person that suggested not taking a test untill you are at least a few days late. you ll save money that way too. good luck to you!

  4. I would advice not to test every month. Just wait a few days after ur period date and then test if ur period doesnt show. Otherwise its just SO disheartening.

When i got my positive i sorta just froze and wondered what the h**l to do! I was home alone and couldnt believe my eyes!! I kept going back to check the test again and again!

I really wish you much luck. x*x

  5. i was home alone and screamed at the top of my lungs, then literally ran to my sisters house lol..

  6. with my 2 kids i had 2 positive tests just dont do it to early after the first period is best i am hoping to have another  soon wish me luck plzz

  7. well my two babies were not planned so i was kinda shocked but really happy cause i consider them to be a blessing...I really hope you can get pregnant and experience this feeling, good luck!

  8. i cried and told my husband! i was so over joyed!

  9. I also wanted a baby for so long and after 3 and a half years of trying, 4 courses of Clomid and 2 IVF cycles later I finally got my long awaited positive on 9th June 2008!

After an extremely drawn out and seemingly never ending 18 day wait  since I had my IVF embryos transfered back to my uterus, I had a blood test performed to check whether or not I was pregnant. The 18 days really seemed longer then the 3 and a half years of trying itself!

Immediately after my nurse from my fertility clinic gave me the positive results of my blood test over the phone I broke into tears and could barely stand, let alone talk to her lol.

My partner was asleep on the lounge at the time and we had waited the entire day for the clinic to phone us with the results, I woke him up in tears and told him that he was finally gonna be a daddy!

It was the happiest day of my life!

I really hope you get your positive soon, then you can finally see how amazing it feels! =)
