  13. David Pearson/Purolator    I wish modern NASCAR fans that say the sport has gotten boring would watch reruns of some of the races from the late 60s through the 70s when it was not unusual to have 3,2, or even 1 car on the lead lap at the end of a race. I believe they might rethink their position after 3 or 4 races. Ya know what though? Somehow it was still a rush for me. Help! I've fallen and can't get up. LOL See Ya

  14. Tide, Darrell Waltrip 1988

  15. I was only in the seventh grade and I never really cared about the sponsers, I was always a paint scheme guy. I don't care what sponser you have but matching the colors with some killer graphics, nothing beats that.

Add: I did not read your question right, I thought it said what was your favorite sponsor. My real answer is Motorcraft.

  16. STP! (Which stands for 'Scientifically Tested Petroleum')

  17. Office Depot

  18. The #6 Valvoline....Mark Martin...and He will be my favorite driver until the end of time.

  22. i grew up watching NASCAR. ever since i could remember my dad would always watch it every sunday, didn't matter what was going on that day, he was in front of the tv watching the races. he loved dale sr and so did everyone else in my family thats why i grew up loving dale sr when good wrench was his main sponser! it was hard when he passed away. i didnt watch nascar for two whole seasons cuz i just couldnt anymore. then i saw matt kenseth win the 2003 championship and i stuck with him since then. (dewalt was he sponser)

  23. Well near as I can remember from 1960 it was either "Holman-Moody" or "Layfette Ford"

  24. In the Cup series, it was Coors and Melling on the #9 T-bird, but when I first got into racing it was the #61 Nascar modified sponsored by B.R. Dewitt.

  25. Dupont.

  26. Miller as well...Rusty Wallace.

I don't remember why I liked him now, maybe it was because I had one of his giant die-cast cars and my dad didn't like him so I rooted for him even more. But then I stopped lol

  27. 1995; Bill Elliott drove the #94 McDonald's Ford for his own team, Bill Elliott Racing.

  28. When I first came into Nascar, it was a local hamburger joint that sponsored and the average man on the street could afford to race.....Nascar has pretty much gone into the toilet with it's multi-million dollar sponsors and half million dollar cars

  29. Mine was Havoline/ Texaco the #28 Davey Allison.

  30. Fred Lorenzen- Lafayette Ford
