When you first get your subs, should you break them in by playing certain things?

are there certain songs or testers that break in the bass, or are there restrictions on what not to play right when you get them?

  1. No You dont have to break them in. just go out and enjoy your new subs :)


  2. get a BASS cd and play low low music.  This will help them and also help you know what it shoud sound like.

  3. It dosent really matter,but anything with heavy bass like a bass testers will work to break them in a little fsaster. Dont crank them up though, start out low for about an hour or so then start to increase the volume a couple clicks at a time. There should be a recomended break in time in the paperwork though.

  4. you must break them in by playing classical music really loud while driving downtown at night due to moisture content in the air

  5. play what you want to listen to. theres no good or bad songs. you just have to be putting music through them to break them in. but obviously rap songs are gonna push your sub a little harder and possibly may break it in faster

  6. It's a car audio not a horse.
