  1. Depends on what the store needs. If they are short service workers, you'll go to service. If they are short grill workers, you'll go there. Those are the only two categories in a fast food store, and everything in the store in completed by the two. However, if you talked to the hiring manager, and only want a few hours a week, they might let you just clean lobby, for example. If you go to Grill first, you will start on meats. If you go to service first, you start on counter, to learn the register.

  2. depends on your personality. i am a people's person and can work pretty good understress so i was cashier and drive thru position. but if you are shy, most likely you wont be doing well with people so they might put you somewhere else, depends where you work, they usually put you in a place where you will feel comfortable

  3. I started as a short order cook, but I think that's probably only because I knew someone there.

But you will probably start out wherever they need you.  Soon enough, the store will find out how you can best be used by them.

  4. It really depends on your age.  Also depends where you would be working. If your under 16 you might start as a busser. 16 cashier, then you learn to do other things.

  5. um i worked at Mcdonalds like ten years ago, and i was the one who put the burgers on the buns, and made the sandwices which was okay.  Then thet used to try and make me be fry girl and that sucked it's all hot and steamy and they want you to make like 30 packs a minute.
