  1. Channel 3, because that's the channel my TV has to be on for my Comcast Digital Reciever / DVR. My other TV also, has to be on 3, for my stereo VCR. I also, have Comcast Digital Voice (phone) and Internet (very fast). Great value.


  2. The channel I left on when I turned it off, that is because its cable. If its digital, it should turn on to the first channel on the box.
