When you format a SD card on a audio recorder...?

...can you afterwards put it into a camera and still use it? Or would I have to buy a new card?

Format it fat, it will work in everything

(FAT is a format used by windows, you can format the card in XP using a card reader if it doesn't work in your audio device or camera)

If you put it into your camera, normally the camera will automatically re-format it to the requirements  of the camera, so just be sure you have saved any music that is on it before you put it in the camera as it will disappear.
