  2. The muscle beneath the skin. Your body will eventually absorb the blood from the bruise. A couple days after it happened, you can start applying some moist heat to the bruise to help the absorption along. Just take a wash cloth, soak it with hot water, ring it out then apply over the bruise. Do this several times and at least twice a day. Good  luck to you sir.

  6. According to the force of the impact. If it's really strong in an area where there's not much fat, then the bruise shows on the skin but hits the nerves, ligaments, muscles and even the bone. The impact crush all what's to crush down to the bone included.
