  1. Well you want to be careful. Horses don't react wel to mythical creatures and the opposite applies as well.

Unicorns can be pretty vicious despite the pretty pink and purple glittery mane

  2. How do you get a unicorn?

  3. you have to be very careful because sometimes unicorns can become aggresive when upset.

Make sure your horse has seen the unicorn before, and the unicorn has seen the horse.

Try feeding them on  opposite sides of a fence so they can see each other, but not get to one another.

Then, spray the horse with unicorn perfume, which actually attracts unicorns.

Your unicorn will then want to be near the horse, but don't let it in the same stall/area yet.. the horse might get scared if the unicorn approaches too quickly.  Keep feeding them next to each other until they are used to it.

Then build a rainbow over the wall between the horse and unicorn, so the unicorn can climb over it-if it wants- to greet the horse.

All horses know that rainbows are sacred, and therefore will accept most things coming over them.  Since the horse will already know the unicorn, it will not be scared or attack.

    Good luck!

  4. It depends on your unicorn. Sometimes they charge when meeting other animals and the horn leaves quite the puncture wound.

The best place to have them meet is on a cloud with Rainbow bright and the Black Stallion with Pegasus looking on. Horses also will welcome any unicorn, as long as it's horn is an irridenscent color.

Word of advice, if your unicorn is Charlie the Unicorn, do not introduce him to your horse. He still thinks a horse stole his kidney, so who knows what his reaction would be.

  5. dammm. i wish i had a unicorn.

    lucky.

  6. well first of all keep them in separate pens but near each other untill the staring contest is over. then go to your horse and tell him "hey horse this is a unicorn." keep a staight face though other wise the horse might think you r joking.

be sure to duct tape the unicorns horn up so no poking accidents happen.

  7. Make more room on your shelf and set your Breyer Unicorn next to your Breyer horse.  They should hit it off fabulously!

Then log off the puter, go out of your room, turn the light off and watch TV with your folks.

  8. Make sure that they are wearing proper attire, (we all know that this affects the social actions/reactions of man and beast) ..then, have each haltered and led by folks wearing tuxedos.  Lead them up, face to face, not close enough so that the unicorn can do any initial damage, and say, "Mr/Ms Unicorn, may I present, Mr/Ms Horse".  Stand quietly and observe the reactions.  If the reactions are not positive, lead them in opposite directions, notify the local news station and make your big splash on TV...you might even charge for those willing to part with their hard earned case, to view your unicorn.  Remember, under the cover of darkness, you simply must reapply the super glue to the horn on the unicorn, it is a must....you must always prepare for the next media day.  Good luck with your unicorn and remember, he/she is capable of placing that horn where ever he/she aims, so don't bend over.

  9. well i would start off by making sure your unicorn's horn isnt sharp enough to hurt your horse, lol

  10. show the horses a picture of the unicorn first so he's not suprised to see him the first time.

  11. I am so glad you are getting a Unicorn. They are fastastic animals, but do need special care of the horn. Make sure, when you introduce him to your horse, that your horse is quiet and will not attack the horn because if he bites the horn off, you won't have proof that you had a Unicorn in the first place. That would be a real tragedy, for sure.

Two things I have to offer you is to make sure you read up about Unicorns and learn all about their care, and disposition. One of the best articles I found about them can be read at:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicorn

But for some hints about how to let people know that you have a Unicorn, and trust me, folks will not believe you, is to watch this very informative, humorous video, a classic, "The Unicorn in the Garden."

I write from my own experience with my own Unicorn who wandered into the barn where my horse was boarded. After a careful and patient introduction, over a fence in the turn out field, they became best friends.

Unicorns prefer carrots to apples, but their favorite treat are Apple Jacks.

If you are over 21, make sure, when you invite friends to see your horse and Unicorn playing nicely, is to have a bottle of champagne on ice.

Good luck to you with your project, and hope this information has been useful to you.

  12. well just let them see eachother first them slowly let them be together hahahahahaha

  13. Well for a start you need to get a large cork fitted to the end of the horn to prevent any accidental skewerings from occurring amongst the excitement.

After you have done that allow them to say "hi" to each other over the fence and chit chat for a bit while you sort out a picnic.

As long as your other horse isn't the winged variety all should be well but if he is then you will need to fit jesses so that he doesn't launch over the gate at the first chance.

You can allow them to eat together just separated by the gate for the first time and after that they should be okay together.

Bear in mind that unicorns will p**p rainbows and that these cannot be disposed of on a muck heap with the other horse p**p as decomposition causes the colours to run and you will end up with a psychedelic field ( unfortunately another side effect of this is that they have a tendency to attract hippies in camper vans who will upset your neighbors and steal all your mushrooms)

You have to make special arrangements with the faerie rainbow disposal crew to make a monthly collection ( they take them for recycling at the Smartie factory)

  14. Hello,

Well, I don't have a unicorn yet...  BUT< when I introduced my Pegasus to my herd of horses they fit in grandly together.   The herd accepted her right in as one of their own!

If your horses are all around gentle, you won't have a problem>>>

We are expecting our first Quarsus (Quarter Horse/ Pegasus) cross, it should be a keeper!
