When you get a replacement license does the old license still scan?

When you get a replacement license does the old license still scan?

does it scan where ??? if it's the same info, probably...if the serial numbers are different, then no...(different states have different licenses, so it's hard to answer this question.)

Here in FL our licenses don't scan. (at least mine doesn't...it has no info except whats on the front, printed.)
