  1. But when your parents come to actually bail you out, that won't be embarrasing? Lol

  2. They will not call anyone for you.  If you do not want to call anyone that is up to you.  You do not have to get bailed out though, you can sit in jail until your trial is over and if found guilty go to prison.

  3. Yes an officer can call for you. It is just a matter of will you have a nice understanding officer who is willing to do it or will you have a jerk who makes you do it.

When I was an officer I would call for kids as parents always seem to have a ton of questions and it was just easier for me to answer them than for the kid to.

  4. I've been in a similar situation (caught with pot & lsd, not stealing). i told the officer there was no way i would call my mom, so he ended up calling for me. guess it depends on the cop.

  5. GROW UP!  I can't believe how immature you are to even ask this question!  If you have the guts to STEAL, then you should have the guts to tell your parents what you did and face the consequences!  You are just to much!

  6. Many times, the Officer will just request a number, and place the call for you.  It saves a lot of wasted time, and conversation.

  7. It's up to them. They will probably hand you the phone and sit there listening while you explain, or they will call your parent and then after speaking to them, make you talk to your parent.

Why are u asking this? Why steal? I was with a friend when I was young and she shoplifted, and it changed the way her mom and dad and all of her siblings acted toward her, and then, that affected her to this day -in some pretty bad ways, too. Not to mention you'd have to live with what you did.

  8. Minor, don't ask, they call. Adult, it's your dime.
