When you get braces does it hurt when they put it on and after?

I just got mine today. When you get braces put on you don't feel a thing. You just get bored because you have to have your mouth open for 45-90 Minutes. After they are on, your teeth will be soar for no more than a week. They feel soar when you bite. There's really nothing to worry about because they give you things and advice to help take away any soreness.

IT MAY FEEL A BIT TIGHT FOR A FEW DAYS AFTER THEY ARE TIGHTENED, BUT THIS DOES'T LAST LONG.

it hurts to eat for like 4 days then you wont even notice im getting my braces of tommrow :)

well when you first get them on, they hurt like h**l.

not trying to scare you or anything,

but they hurt and cause headaches.

if your teeth are really crooked, then they hurt more because there is alot of pressure on your teeth at first.

sometimes you get sores on the insides of your cheeks but they give you ortho wax to put on the sharp parts that are causing the sores.

but after the first couple weeks you should see improvement and you wont even notice they're there!
