When you get nervous, scared, or angry, what do you do?

I use stridex on my face and straighten my hair.

I have "panic attacks" like that a lot where I just freak out and get the urge to wash my face or straighten my already straight hair...

What do you do?

And... is there something wrong with me for having these urges?

  1. There is nothing wrong with you, at all.

You are sensing something that is troubling you. Your brain will react, if it doesn't know what to do, by doing something. Same goes for when you are nervous and you pace back and forth.

You have an urge to do something constructive. When I feel that way, I feel like washing dishes in the sink, or I'll get out the vacuum cleaner and clean the floor. Doing something like that will help ease your mind, plus you get the added benefit of a cleaner house.

  2. Well, if I feel I'm being haunted, I tell God or whatever that I'm going to try to haunt the ghosts. Two can play their game. So I cleverly say aloud "you can see me, but I can't see you." This messes with their head. Haunting people is incorrigible behavior that shouldn't be allowed. So have faith that God or whatever will defend you the helpless.

Now that I read the rest of your question, I have bad scars and still get pimples. I'd rather take pride in my self rather than my looks. I just don't care about those things anymore. I find it's an easier disposition than being good looking. It's hard to not be conceded if you're good looking.

Sometimes acne gets bad enough that you've got to just deal with it. It creates a humility. It's kind of like being overweight. Of course, I'm not saying you're bad looking or anything either; how could I if I've never seen you?
