When you go away to live at college/university do your?

parents give you spending money each semester for all 4 years of college? How much spending money do they give you? Do you buy things like alcohol or cigarettes with the spending money your parents give you? Please explain.

Well usually most students have some money already saved up that they can use.  But many parents give their kids money and they spend it like they want to.  If you spend it on alcohol or cigarettes, then you'll eventually be out and maybe wont have money for food or other expenses.  Just budget your money.
