  1. They will ask you for 2 forms of ID. You can give them Drivers License, Social security card, Birth Certificate, .. Also  if under driving age.. maybe. Library card, regular ID from D.M.V.,School report card. ETC.

  2. It is illegal for an employer to ask your age during the application or interview process.  If you are hired, I suppose they could use your driver's license to prove age, although I've never had to prove it - I just provided date of birth.

  3. Drivers License?  Social Security card?  Passport?

  4. Usually the age verification is done from the same documents as the Employment Eligibility Verification.  This is done on Homeland Security form I-9 http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-9.pdf .  Page 4 of the form gives a list of acceptable documents.  A person needs something from Column A OR something from both Columns B AND C.  This is a standard form so, you could just fill it out and bring it with the originals of the ID documents when you report for your first day of work.

I hope this helps.  Please return and select a Best Answer from all of those submitted.
