When you go for interview in Germany embassy they ask bank statement?

how mauch shuold be on the bank account ?,and for how many month they want ? e.g for 3 month

well the bank statement is required to know whether you will be able to take care of your expenses while in germany... and whether you will be able to afford living there....

your statement must show sufficient funds for the same reason. and the reason they ask for a 3 months statment... is becuz they want to see the rolling of money in your account... and you did not just deposit money into your account just to show enough balance....

If this is a Non immigrant visa to the US than they might want about a year of your bank statement this is to show the US embassy in Frankfurt that you have strong ties with your country and you have no intention in living in the US.  They may also ask for a work letter, or if you making paymentson you vehicle and/or anything else that may support you.
