there's a mermaid season? When? take an I-pod or something, For siren pre-caution! Use a harpoon or net. Net is better. It'll mace 'em to scared to sing! Just don't catch a selkie by mistake. I would line the net with something shiny, lice fake pearls. They're attracted to shiny things. Or use something shiny as bait with a fishing pole.
