  1. Only if the company is fun and I want the meal to last a bit longer. Definitely not for the quality of desserts at eateries.


  2. No I'm actually get filled up with the entree and drinks. I don't typically get appetizers either.

  3. not usually, unless i go there for a birthday or something.  usually i fill up on the actual meal, and i am not hungry for it. but if i do get dessert i just split a large brownie or something with multiple people.

  6. Not usually because I keep thinking "$4.99 for a piece of cake and some ice cream when I can make a whole cake for that much!"  And the places with the dessert case with all the pretty cakes and pies, turns out they usually taste like c**p.

    I do always order pie when at Baker's Square, it is sooo good!

  7. No, I find that usually the desserts are sub par. I am guessing is that the restaurants hope that you will be buzzed by the wine and drinks, that you wont notice the lesser quality of the desserts. A few restaurants have had decent desserts though.

  9. No,  to full from meal.  If I am still hungry it is probaly a gross restraunt and would rather go to McDonald's for a mcflurry.

  10. No.         IF   I  want a  dessert  at a  restaurant,    I   would order  Only a Dessert.....and  not order  a meal,   which  I  do  sometimes.

  12. not usually, desserts are often overpriced/dissapointing or I will feel guilty if I eat it!  I almost always get dessert for special occasions (birthdays, anniversary) because you just should! :)

  14. Depends, if I'm at a fine restaurant... I'm talking about the 75+ a plate, then yes.  Otherwise, I don't waste my money... desserts at most are subpar.  If I'm wanting dessert after dinner then I head over to a bakery or ice cream parlor...

  16. Almost never.  I'd rather order an appetizer and a main dish and coffee.

  17. No.  The deserts are 1/3 to 1/2  the price of your meal.  They are not that good or that good for you.  When you leave and tally your bill, you suddenly realize that you have taken 1/2 person along due to the excess costs involved.
