When you go shopping for groceries in Lebanon...?

...do you prefer to go to small store (like a dekkeneh or an outdoor souk) rather than a supermarket or a mall????

I prefer the small stores, you always meet people you know there and have small talk...and you always end up having a coffee and gossiping with a neighbour instead of fixing lunch

  1. well when i got falasteen or amaan, i like the small dekkeneh or souk beter than the supermarket, cuz come on i flew 17 hrs to see my country and experience my culture, we have supermarkets in america

    to them there its a huge deal they are like

    WHOOOAAAA

    but to me id rather go to the small dekkeneh or souk

    anyways in falasteen u have no choice they have no supermarkets or malls lol 3indhum hal akameen dekkaneh w yalla yalla lol to them thats luxury :-P


  2. I prefer to shop under one roof and in the shortest possible time (just a male thingie)   : )

    I will tell you WHERE in Lebanon, when I actually go there. After staying in your category, now I seriously think to go and see the place and meet Lebanese people in person : )
