  1. bring a watch and time you know or you'll be in there forever..

  2. When my $25.00 is gone.

  3. Personally it's over when

-I'm getting consistently bad outcomes and winning extremely little

-am up to the point of making 50% of what i went in with and  think I am not going to get anymore

-am 100% in profit on top of what I came in with

-or the money has run out...

set limits (what you will lose how much you will walk away with if you are in profit etc etc) and dont get caught up with the excitement and lose it all!

    Good Luck !

  4. When you're out of money???

  5. Don't get me wrong, you gotta have some fun, but you should have a set amount to lose (ex. $1000 or so). If you get up into big money, it's also a good idea to set a "winning limit" too. I wouldn't set a time limit unless you wanna do a bunch of other stuff, or you have to do something else, but remember, coming out with the same amount you came in with is better that coming out with less, even if that means you have to fold a few big pots, or skip a high stakes round. SET YOUR LIMITS!

  6. I set limits BEFORE I go to a casino and make myself stick to them.  If I lose the amount I've brought (never bring more than you can afford to lose) it's quitting time.  If I've won a set amount (usually between 4X and 10X buy in) it's quitting time.  And when I find myself tipping the cocktail girl $5 a drink it's DEFINITELY quitting time.

  7. when have a gambling problem

  8. Set your alarm.

  9. When you go into the casino, take only what you can afford to lose. If you're going to be there for, say, three days, then divide your gambling money into three equal piles. Take only the first day's pile on the first day...the second day's pile on the second day, et cetera.

That way, no matter how you run at the games, you still have money to enjoy the next day.

I don't set winning limits, though. If you're winning, and still having fun, then you don't really have to leave, now do you? Oh, sure, you could lose everything that you've won, and your original gambling money, but that's okay. If you go into the casino with the knowledge that you can lose everything, but you're comfortable with that, then you'll be fine.

Just don't try to win back money by going back to your room and grabbing the next day's pile of cash. That doesn't end well most of the time - and wrecks the next day's action.

  10. I agree with some of the other comments, set a limit on your losses.  But I disagree with Steve S.  Why would you set a limit on your winnings?  I like to say, when you get the casino's money, beat them over the head with it.  If you get up on blackjack or slots or whatever, bet more and go for the big score.  Just be sure to leave a winner.  Even if it is just $10.

  11. i go with a set amount of money and when i run out it is over for me
