When you go to a french restaurant?

when you go to a french restaurant do you have to order food or can you just order drinks

If you do go to a french restaurant i would suggest that you als order some of the french cuisine to get a taste for the local food . But as you have asked ,you can also just order something drink .But that would be better in a Bistro or Bar only .

normally in France the restaurants are only for dinner, if you wont only drink you have to go to a bar or a cafe.

I think if you're on a date and then yes you would order food, but if you're on a girls night or something, then you could order drinks [[[after you ate or something that it]]]
