When you go to another team's game...?

Question

...(where your team isn't playing) Do you still wear your team's t-shirts, jerseys, baseball caps, etc.? Or do you just wear a plain t-shirt?

I just went to a Mariners game the other day and I'm a Pirates fan, so I just wore regular clothes, shorts and a gray t-shirt. I wasn't going to wear anything special because I am not a Mariners fan. During the game I was pretty neutral, I really didn't root for one team or the other. I was just there to see SAFECO Field and watch Major League Baseball in a different city.

But, when the Mariners scored / hit a home run, I did stand up and applaud. It's always nice to see the home team win and the fans go wild and cheer.

I usually just wear whatever, I don't make it a point to wear my teams gear. Seems kind of pointless.

Yeah I definitely do. I rep the Red Sox where ever I go, and I have been for years. I got cheers at Shea Stadium back around 2002 or so because they knew I hate the Yankees too haha

I haven't been to another team's stadium, but when ever my family and I go to Anaheim for dinner, shopping, or whatever... I wear something that says Dodgers. The dirty looks I get are priceless, lol.

I'm a die-hard Dodger fan but I also go to Angel Games with my friends.  I always wear my Dodger cap/jacket/or jersey to there.

Once some old guy started shouting at me "Get out of here, the Dodgers suck, you can't invade this stadium!"

Sometimes. I've done both before, like when I went to Philly I wore a Twins hat and regular clothes.

If i go to another teams games i usually wear regular clothes and a yankees cap

I'd probably still wear my teams hat because I always wear a hat but other then that i'd have on regular clothes.

my brother's best friend plays for the Raiders & I'm a big Chargers fan. but it didn't matter for me, i worn his jersey, in reality i was rooting for him not the raiders, besides its not like the raiders are a real threat to the chargers

I honestly just end up wearing a whatever shirt is being given away for free just for signing up for a visa or mastercard outside the stadium. So I guess the answer to the real question would be definately for the home team.Do.t think any of them actually gave me a card. How something useful instead and give me a free hot dog or beer?

One of my friends MADE me go to a Cubs-Cards game at Wrigley, so I just heckled Cubs fans the whole time.

If I went to a Dodgers Game

I would wear my "Beat LA" shirt to p**s them off

But when I go to a A's Game I wear my yellow A's hat and wear something green or a UC Berkely shirt

if you don't want to buy the teams items that you are going to see, then you shouldn't wear your teams jersey or other things b/c it doesnt make sense.

I always will wear MY teams stuff.  If I go to a funeral im wearing a Cowboys hat or Orioles hat.  No, im kidding about that, but I do wear my team stuff daily.  My grandmother hates it. Im 31. She says she is so sick of "the logos" haha

Going to Wrigley in 2 weeks & honestly don't know if i will wear my Yankee gear there or not.  More than likely for now i will wear a regular shirt but will surely wear my Yankee shirt when i go to Fenway when the Sox play the Yanks in the end of Sept.

Yeah.  Okay, let's say I went to an away Yankee game when they were playing in Fenway - I would wear a Yankee shirt and hat.

If I was going to a Mets game at Shea Stadium when they're playing the Philles, I would also wear a Yankee hat and shirt.

It's like when I was at a Yankee game when they were playing the Rays, there was a Red Sox fan... and the Red Sox weren't playing in that game.

I have actually never been to a baseball game where the Yankees weren't playing. But I am going to Wrigley Field on the 20th and I have been debating whether or not I will be wearing my Yankee gear. If I do wear anything, I might just wear my Yankee hat.

plain shirt. As an avid sports fan who goes to games, I can't stand seeing someone wearing their teams colors when they are not playing. If you are rooting for one team over the other then wear something for them.

I usually don't wear my team's jersey to another ballpark.  Occasionally I'll wear a Rangers or Orioles cap to another stadium, but that's as far as that goes.

I like this question! I go to a Pirates-Brewers game once or twice a year for my brother, the Pittsburgh fan, and I tag along.

Usually, I just wear my White Sox t-shirt, and a White Sox hat. Of course, I am not killed there, because the White Sox and Brewers aren't exactly enemies of any sort. But this year, my brother had a spare Pirates hat so I wore that and a White Sox shirt. I do root for the Pirates there too, because I like a lot of the players on that team.
