When you have a hamster can they drink out of a bowl or that water bottle thing?

I have a Teddy Bear Hamster and I was just wondering I have the water bottle to hang but I was also wondering if you could use just a little bowl full of water.

well i have both, and i observe whether he drinks more at the hanging water bottle or the bowl.

If she likes either, i would try to take out the other and use the one she's more comfortable with.
