  1. As long as you have a valid drivers license, you can legally drive. If there is a cross-border warrant, they can arrest you and turn you over to the Canadian authorities. And there is a good chance that they will detain you at the border if you try to re-enter Canada.


  2. Both the Canadian and American authorities have access to CPIC (Canadian Police information centre) and NCIC  (National crime information center)  .

    You get stopped for a speeding ticket, they run your name, your screwed (depending on the actual crime of course)

    Turn yourself in.

  3. If there is a warrant out for your arrest, why would you be going to the States? I am sure they have enough criminals without importing another. Or are you an American in trouble up here and hoping to skip off home? Either way, I would advise you to

    turn yourself in and make it safer for all on both sides of the border.
