When you have fillings in your teeth, do they eventually come out? ?

You can have fillings replaced by your dentist, but you'll always have them. Cavities do not heal themselves.

If you get a filling, it is supposed to last a loooooong time!  Unless you have one fall out, or a cavity gets bigger, your dentist should have to drill and fill again.  Your teeth will not repair themselves after a filling, so no--cavities don't disappear on their own.  That is why fillings were created in the first place, to stop a cavity from spreading.  It is permanent.

No. The dentist drill a hole in your teeth then fill it with the filling. They stay there forever.

I know this because I recently had a filling come out and there was a big hole in my tooth. I had to go the dentist to get it filled in again.
