  1. A lot of times I have customers that come up to me and say that they opened it and realized it wasn't what they wanted. So I take it and put it in my board as refused. It goes right back to the shipper. I've also picked up packages from the UPS stores and other outlets that are UPS pickup and drop off sites and they hand me packages that were refused and dropped off there. You can always call UPS also and say that a driver left a package that was supposed to be refused but you weren't there to tell the driver. They will send the driver a message in their board and the driver will come back and mark it as refused.

  2. if you didn't open it, you can refuse it. if you opened it bring it to a UPS Store or Kinkos (Fed Ex) where they will charge you to return it.

if the item is wrong, contact the company that sent it and they can send you a prepaid return label
