When you have your braces fitted, do they always tighten them, if so is it painful?

You must go back and have your braces tightened every 6-8 weeks.

It doesnt hurt everytime, but when you get a new wire that sometimes hurts.

After you've had braces a few months though the pain should start to dim down and you wont feel as much anymore, it may only hurt for2 or 3 days after adjustments :)
