When you hear the term "The War" which war pops into your head first?

It's always been WWII to me. I would like to think that it's because it was the most important war of the Twentieth Century, or maybe because it was my country's proudest moment in history. But I fear that it's just a function of my advanced age.

It depends on the context, but usually WW2. If it is on the news or a politician talking today, I'm thinking of Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think of the First World War, aka World War I.

WWII is the first thing, but I was of the  Vietnam age, so that comes a very close second place.  Third is the current war in Iraq, and fourth is the Afghani War, which I hear we (the US) are losing, again.
