  1. never

  2. No.  If I see that someone needs my help, I just do it.

  3. If you are good person, you will help someone without thinking what you will get for that. If you think what is in it fro me then don't help,if you don't see something for you in it. It is simple. peace and love

  4. if i was thinking that, it would not be so personally enjoyable to help someone.  i dont want to 'toot' my own horn either so i just be happy helping and maybe the person i helped will pass along the favor!

  5. Not really.

Often, i spend time wondering how to get things from people while at the same time making it worth their while too, instead of just asking.

Something in my brain rejects the idea of simply asking for something though, what with the fact that i rarely have anything to offer in return.

Kinda like a twisted form of selflessness.

  6. No, what's in it for me doesnt' enter my mind.  I see someone in need and I help.  end of story.

  7. NO ABSOLUTELY NOT

  8. No, no way. I help people because I love people and I enjoy helping them. If you expect something then it was done out of selfishness and not love.  I think I' d just as soon they did help me if they didn't do it out of love.  Even If I'd never seen them before, do it with love.  Love back at ya. Are you very young?  I can't believe you are a senior citizen.

  9. I was raised to believe that we should all love one another and help each other whenever we can/could!   And to then brag about helping a person was a sin.  G-d knows you helped someone out, why would you need to brag about it.   No I do  not do it for personal  gain.   I do it because I want to.

  10. I work for a non-profit organization that helps low income older adults.  We finds services for them, help them with their utilities, personal care, home making, meals.  We do not ask anything from them.  This is the best job I have ever had and feel that I'm helping people.

  11. I am 16 and I usually just think it's because it's the right thing to do. And I know I'll get guilty if I dont.

  12. Nooooooooooooooooo!

What a sorry sort of a person that would make me.

  13. No I don't. Helping others should come from the heart. I don't expect rewards for this. If we were kinder to others maybe we would feel more contentment in our lives. Knowing you helped someone is in it's self a reward. Nothing else is needed. Kindness matters.    Poppy

  14. NO. It never even crosses my mind.

  15. yes & no

  16. I help people all day long and know what is in it for me at the end of two weeks,

I put money in Uncle Sam's Pocket first then my bank account to buy groceries and four dollar a gallon gas.

  17. No. I also don't want anyones help who is only doing it because they want something from me. If i help someone it's because i want to. Out of love & care for them. No strings attached.

  18. No, but I do appreciate a  "Thank you"

  19. No, of course not.  Although I have gone out of my way to help a friend many times, and she never thanks me at all, just kind of turns her nose up at me.  I don't help expecting anything in return, but a heart-felt "thank you" would be nice sometimes.

  20. No, I think when you help someone it will come back at a later date!

  21. Absolutely not.

  22. if she is good looking i think she might go out with me one day.

    Pass it On.

  24. nope, nada, I'll help any one...

  25. For me it's a feel good feeling to help.

    I love to help.

I have a hard time accepting help and now that I need help because of my health, it's hard but I try to be gracious about it.

It's all about people who need people.

I think there is a song called, "People." by Barbra Streisand.

It goes something like - "People Who Need People, are the luckiest people in the world."

    DeeJay.

  26. No, I surely don't.

  27. I don't have enough time to think that far ahead and anyway, it is a reward in itself, doing for others.

  28. No!!! because when i help someone i do it from my heart, so I'm never looking for anything in return....

  29. Nope. Like this answer and many others, I do it because its a positive passtime and can help people on both ends. Or just for fun. Sometimes.

  30. Definitely not.
