When you here Jayden do you think boy / girl? I really like the name Jayden Ann.

My family is concerned about the baby having a more boy name than girl. We have to other children Lauren and Ryan, Dads name is Jason . I think Jayden will flow nicely with the rest. Other thoughts are wanted thanks!

Frankly, I really hate it.  I think it's a dreadful and ugly name.  I don't see it as enduring - it's one of those names that will be easily dated in my opinion.  Like Sunshine from the 60s.  I think it's too masculine for a girl, but too feminine for a guy - it's in name-limbo so to speak.  It's one of my top most-hated names.  I don't think it flows well with the other kids names - they're both classic, timeless, beautiful names.  Jayden sticks out like a sore thumb.

That being said, I'm a big believer in choosing a name because you like, not because of what other people think.  If you love it, use it.

I think of Jayden as a girls name.  My sister many years ago named her cat Jayden and it was a male cat.  Then when she was pregnant, if she had a girl she was going to name the child Jayden Christine, but she had a boy instead.
