When you look on Yahoo Finance, what is the difference between real time and change?

When you go to see the price of a company, there is a real time and a "change" that have different numbers. What is the difference. Is the difference that the change is based on the ask and bid while the real time is from their current eps....?

  1. CHANGE is the difference between the current price and the previous day' closing price.


  2. - Quotes generally were about 15 to 20 minutes delayed. In the recent past you had to buy an expensive subscription and maybe have a high speed connection to get real time.

    - Real time gives you the last trade. But as a result it bounces up or down with each trade.

    Change is the price difference from the closing price of the previous day.
