When you move into a two room dorm?

do you have to find your own roommate?

or do they give you one?

if they give you one does each person pay 2500 per semester or is the cost split?

With most colleges, you can either put in a request to have a certain roommate (like a friend who is going to the same college).  If you don't request a specific roommate, they will match you up with one.  You'll usually fill out a survey about yourself (when you go to bed, if you get up early, if you're messy, if you like loud music), and then they will match you with someone who is like you.  

The school will tell you however much the room is.  If it says $2,500 on the website, then it is $2,500 per person.  With the exception of married couples living in married housing-you'll pay whatever the room costs, no splitting.
