When you order Pizza and they include a delivery fee, are you still suppose to tip the driver?

A tip is always extra.  And, many pizza places expect the drivers to get tips and pay less accordingly.

If the delivery is quick, the driver is courteous and neat in appearance, I always do, especially if I'm going to order from that place again. I want the delivery people to remember me with kind thoughts. Those guys don't make much money and they rely on tips to balance that out, just like waiters and waitresses.

If I know I am getting Good Pizza...I always tip delivery charge or no.....If I don't know the company, I will tip but not as much til I have tried thier pizza and ordered from them a second time....Also depends on how friendly the person on the phone/Delivery person are.  :-)

Actually, it depends on the pizza place.  Some places I've worked for will give the driver a portion of the fee.  Regardless, it's usually something minimal like .50 cents, so always tip your drivers atleast a buck.

Drivers also will remember if you don't tip, which is not to your benefit.

yes def, the pizza place i worked at was def not enough to cover a normal tip, the drivers always got shafted, most of them quit cause they were barely coming out ahead because of gas prices
