Question:

When you plant a seed do you let it dry out or do you plant it while it is still moist?

  1. I always plant my seed where it's moist!

The ground dry out? or the seed?  I think You mean the ground?  Scratch up the area in Your garden where You will plant Your seed.  Use an inch or two of seed starting mix.  Place your seeds according to seed pack (distance).  Sprinkle more seed starter on top of seeds. spray with Your hose on mist.  If You meant the actually seed being moist... Did You get some seeds off a plant and They were moist and haven't developed fully?  If so...let the buds of the flower dry on the plant.  The bud will turn brown, and soon after You will have seeds.  You can save the seeds in an envelope, or depending on Your zone...plant them!!
