  1. Nope I want my lawn green and my plants to look their healthiest.  I will continue to use chemicals because they work better and are a lot easier to use, plus if you use them proporly there is minimal effect on the ecosystem.

  2. Good morning Janet,

you know how i feel about it and even though I do not own a lawn and try to live sustainably it does bother me when others don't. And I would change my ways to make sure that the products I use are not harmful to the environment. We all depend on water and the more we are polluting it the sooner its going to come back and bite us in the behind

  3. Is it really surprising that we're polluting our oceans???  Look at our poplulation, our garbage on the streets, our lack of common sense (people really think it's okay to dump therewaste oil anywhere!).  Most are ignorant to the problems WE cause, doing what we do everyday.

Last report I heard was that pharmaceutical chemicals (in the form of birth controls, etc.) were making there way through the leach fields (of septics) and making there was out to the rivers, bays, and oceans, adversily affecting ocean species.

Classic example of our reckless abandon- billions of dollars of medicines, sleep disorders, erectile dysfunctions, bladder issues, you name it.  All passed by our government (FDA) without long-term effects to humans, oceans, environment, etc.

    We're SO trashing our world!
