  1. Yes. That's pretty much the point.

  2. In most cases yes. By law (in Minnesota at least), disposal companies are REQUIRED to properly recycle items that people thought they were recycling. For example, if you walk into a fast food resteraunt and there is a bottle container marked recycling, they are required by law to recycle all of the bottles in that bin, the same applies to the waste hauler. If an item was to be recycled or composted they must compost it. Also, most states require a certain process to be met before such items are recycled. For example: If you put a paper juice jug in the recycling with the plastic cap on, it won't be put through the recycling process. I hope that answer seemed sensible :]

  3. Usually that's the point that it gets recycled. I worked 2 years for the Goodwill and that's all they basically do, recycle. They receive donations of clothing's, electronics, furniture etc... then they use that to provide  the trainee some people with disabilities or barriers to employment  and they learn the process of sorting, hanging, etc... and the merchandise gets sold to a very reasonable price and that way someone else will enjoy something that other wise would have ended up in the landfill.

You can do a lot of things like reuse the plastic bags from the groceries as trash bags or to carry other things to work etc... cut up an old shirt  and turn it into a rag to wash your car, the window, etc...

so yes the stuff are supposed to get recycle...

  4. Depends on what you mean by re cycled. If you mean reused, well then yes. People re use lots of things especially if it's in good condition. Re cycled, well of course everything can be turned into something else if it cant be used in the original fashion meant for that item.  Every single item can be re used  or re cycled a heap of different ways.

  5. 1 after going through all the trouble to collect the materials pretty silly not to recycle it

2 if they have paid for the materials (pop cans, newspaper) pretty silly to pay a tipping fee at a landfill site to dispose of it

  6. Yes what else are they going to do with it
