When you restart you tama, how do you get your old one back?

When you get a new battery your old tama will be still there. But on some tamagotchis you really have to reset your tamagotchi. For example when you hit the reset button, it will ask you if you want to RESET or DOWNLOAD. Select DOWNLOAD and you will have your old tamagotchi again. Thats only on the newer versions of tamagotchi though.

When you need to change your battery, just change the battery. Your old tama will still be there. ^ ^ If you reset the device, however, there will be no way to get your tamagotchi back, and you will have to start over.
