When you restore your iPod, does it delete the songs off your library?

I need to restore my ipod because I got syncing error (-48).

I know the ipod deletes the songs off of it, but does it also erase your library?

Yes it erases your entire library and puts your iPod back to factory settings.

I don't know about your second question, though. But I do know there is a folder on your computer that has all your music files in it, should your iTunes library ever s***w up, and everything mysteriously disappears. It's happened to me a couple times, but I've never restored my iPod, so I don't know if that folder would still be there. I don't know if that answered your question. Sorry.

yes it deletes it and you can transfer but you have to download another software, check it on google.
