I need to restore my ipod because I got syncing error (-48).

I know the ipod deletes the songs off of it, but does it also erase your library?

  1. Yes it erases your entire library and puts your iPod back to factory settings.

I don't know about your second question, though. But I do know there is a folder on your computer that has all your music files in it, should your iTunes library ever s***w up, and everything mysteriously disappears. It's happened to me a couple times, but I've never restored my iPod, so I don't know if that folder would still be there. I don't know if that answered your question. Sorry.

  2. yes it deletes it and you can transfer but you have to download another software, check it on google.
