When you restore your ipod does it erase your music library on itunes?

when I'm tried to update my ipod touch to 2.0.2 it wont sync due to error 19

Well yes but what it does it gives you more song from an artist or album. But to do that that it has to delete a song or a few songs. (It deletes a song or album or artist that isn't that popular to you)

No, it won't affect your tunes on the computer at all.

Error 19 seems to be due to a USB communications problem.  Try a different USB port and cable if you have one.
