  1. No.

  2. No, but then my neurology is rather abnormal. On top of a plethora of other things, I'm synesthetic. When I say "k" or hear someone else say it, I feel sharp, smooth edges and generally see the color gray. I suppose there is something I could encounter in the world that would invoke a mental image of the letter "k", but I don't know what it would be. When I focus on such an image, I have a vague experience of the color yellow and rough, "stiff-feather" type textures. So maybe if I ever ran into Big Bird, the letter "k" would pop up. I dunno'. :-)

  3. Yes it does. I think it is because I do a lot of texting and most of the time my brother responds with "K"

  4. Yes i have, but i think that may because that is the way i type it on chats and messages(cell phone)

  5. Honestly can say it never has, although I have thought of the word Kay before which I guess is a bit similar.

  6. Words are symbols.

The ability to translate thought into language with the basic symbols, or alphabet, being forty-eight in number can create some confusion.

The single letter is symbolic and leaves much un-told.
